Alexander Grosby is the visionary behind the Phishsonian Institute, a museum concept in the documenting of Phish, both the band and the fans. He holds a MSLIS in Archives Management from Simmons College, an MS in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University, and a BA in History from Syracuse University. He currently works on the Museums team for the city of Portsmouth, VA, where currently resides with his wife, costume designer Meredith Magoun. Previous institutions include the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle, WA, the General Douglas MacArthur Memorial in Norfolk, VA and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History in Washington, DC.
